A question of taste.... Part Deux -Topic Locked

Okay, Ladies & Gents,

I have a question for you that sorta NEEDS answering, above and beyond the "Post What YOU Want" knee-jerk response...

Yesterday just felt odd... I felt my caption style was becoming just a little repetitive... ok, a LOT repetitive... and I tried to go more "artistic"... I CAN do that, it just takes me a little longer :)

What I need to know, is what's important to YOU, the Blog Members...

I got stories, and am pretty good at matching them to photos... I can slap together a functioning, legible cappie, with a sexy scenario, cute piccie and either a funny tone or dark tone with a plot twist in about 10 minutes, all day long...

What I HAVE been doing is focusing a LITTLE on presentation/layout, making the same stories/captions a little more slick/professional-looking, VERY easy to read, and a little more pleasant to look at... I can easily crank out 4-5 of these per day, during my spare time after work..

What I did YESTERDAY was focus MAINLY on presentation/layout... In these the text is almost just an excuse to look at the pic and fantasize :) These take the longest for me... I can occasionally get 4-5 done in a day (in spare time), but more reasonable is 2 or 3..., sometimes less, because even finding a suitable source pic can be a bitch...

The type and quantity of the commentary would lead me to believe that you are basically not interested in the presentation-centric captions, with a few exceptions amongst you :)

Basically, I am asking you... where do I get my best bang-for-the-buck?

Do I stick with my basic black background, OCD posting of 4-6 cappies most days?

Do I go even simpler, and just get the stories out there. not sweating the niceties?

Do I take more time, maybe slowing production, but produce more aesthetically pleasing captions?

I know that no matter WHICH option I ultimately go with, SOMEBODY will be more than happy,and somebody won't....

I need to know how MOST of you feel...

If y'all are okay with a distinctive, REPETITIVE style, I can certainly do that :)

If you want me to just forget style and post a LOT, I can do THAT, too :)

If you want me to focus MORE on style, I need to know that :)

Lastly, if you just want me to OCCASIONALLY change things up, but basically stick with one of the styles, that is certainly doable also...
