Tom was more than a little surprised. The same day his newly single Mom was taking off on a two-week cruise, his 21 year-old sister Sarah returned home for an "extended visit" from College. He suspected that his Mom didn't trust him in the house alone, which was ridiculous! He was 18 years old. While he still lived at home, his online-based web design business was just starting to take off. It seemed they (his Mom and his sister) felt he still needed a babysitter.
It was annoying, to say the least!
He was a little surprised when Sarah invited him to go shopping with her at the mall in the big city. They hadn't really been close since before she left for college 3 years ago, and they'd left on bad terms, with Sarah livid that Tom had "borrowed" her underwear for the umpteenth time again. She had felt violated, and had said some cruel and not totally undeserved things. They never spoke of it again... they hardly spoke at all. Now here she was, acting as if everything was in the past.
They lived in a rural area, and it was over an hour drive to the city. Sarah chattered on with small talk,while Tom wondered what in the heck was going on. When they got to the mall, Sarah noticed that one of the shops specializing in trendy teen clothes was running a glamour/makeover special. They would give you a free "glamour" makeover, and then do a photoshoot of you trying on various complete outfits. If you liked any of the outfits, they would offer up to a 25% discount if you bought the ENTIRE "heels to hair" set, including lingerie and shoes!
Tom was a little confused. Sarah was pretty, but didn't really go into this kind of style. This really didn't seem like something she would be interested in... He was floored whe she suggested HE give it a shot!
He blushed furiously and tried to protest at the ridiculousness of the suggestion, secretly wishing that he could actually do it. Sarah just smiled softly. In a totally supportive and cajoling way, she let him know that she KNEW he would love this, and there was nothing to be ashamed of.
Before he knew it, he was sitting in a beauticians chair, getting "the works". His heart was hammering in his chest. He was elated, but also terrified. The beauticians were very professional and friendly, as if turning a grungy boy into a teen princess was something they did every day. They kept his back to the mirror until they were done. Tom was so scared, he couldn't breathe as they spun it around.
Holy SHIT! He couldn't believe his eyes! What had they done? At the same time he was reveling in his new look, he was terrified. There was NO way he could hide what they had done to his eyebrows!Tom's reaction totally confirmed Sarah's suspicions. She was impressed, he looked even better than she had hoped! This was going to be easier than she thought.
Tom's mind was awhirl. Sarah easily convinced him to change into an extremely "girly" outfit. He would have never gone for it normally, but he was swept up in the moment. He hadn't even blinked when they pierced his ears and put in the huge dangly gold hoops!
"Tammy" was a natural. The camera LOVED her.
Initially, she was VERY shy, but as the camera clicked and nobody laughed at her, she positively blossomed. She flirted and vamped with the camera, played coy, played sexy.Tammy barely even consciously noticed that Sarah was buying EVERY outfit that she tried on! Hundreds and hundreds of dollars of dresses, skirts, blouses, panties and bras... and let's not forget the shoes!
Sarah was struck with amazement as "Tammy" confidently walked in 4 and 5-inch heels that would give HER trouble. She realized that this ran even deeper than she had already discovered! She
quietly made a phone call.Oblivious, Tammy was in heaven! The Photo Studio was in a public area, and over the past several hours, a crowd had amassed! Tammy began to get nervous. It was bad enough, and certainly scary, that teen girls were "checking her out", but there was more than one hot young guy ogling her as well! It was too much!!!
Sarah saw the panic and fear creep into Tammy's eyes, threatening to spoil the mood. She moved in quickly, smothering Tammy with affection and not a few kisses. The giggling pair of sisters left the store with Tammy still wearing the pink skirt outfit. The store had gotten so much business thanks to them, they gave Sarah their business card with an open invitation to come back anytime (with guarenteed discounts!), and gave Tammy the final outfit totally free of charge!
Out of the spell of the photoshoot. Tammy began crying and gushing apologies to Sarah for all of the times she had stolen Sarah's clothes and invaded her privacy. It was all crashing down now, as she realized that while it hadn't been a dream, and they had the photos and clothes to prove it, now it was time to go back to being plain old Tom. Tammy was devastated. Sarah "shushed" away her tears and drove Tammy home. During the long ride back, they barely spoke, Tammy nervously touching her skirt and bare knees over and over again.
Their Mom was waiting when they got home! Tammy was mortified, and refused to get out of the car. She sat in stunned silence as Sarah explained that it had all been a ruse. Their Mom had found Tammy's (not Tom's) blog onscreen one day cleaning his room. It had taken her only a few moments to realize that this incredibly sad, depressing and feminine blog belonged to her SON.
She and Sarah had concocted this plan to shock/scare Tom out of his obsession with girl's clothes. In no small part it was to punish her for all of the dishonesty and stealing from both of them.
When Sarah had seen "Tammy" positively blossom as a girl, happy and laughing for the first time in Sarah's memory, everything changed. Sarah's phone call to her mother had prompted her to reread Tammy's blog. Her knee jerk reaction of anger was replaced with a deep well of sympathy for the poor girl trapped in Tom's body.

rave new world for Tammy. Not that she NEVER wore pants or shorts again, although she did prefer dresses/skirts... It was that when she DID wear pants/shorts, there was nothing boyish about it :)The photos from the mall, initially planned to blackmail Tom "straight" were now instead proudly displayed around the house. Both Sarah and her mother were amazed. Tammy was a much better daughter than Tom had EVER been a son. All the lies and deception were gone, and they had never been closer! Now, when Tammy "borrowed" Sarah's things, she didn't feel violated anymore, she just felt amused. Half the time, she ended up giving the clothes to Tammy. Hell, she wore them better than SHE did :)
